      Real talk: protect your work-life balance and your mental health. Burn out isn’t worth it. Work hard within reasonable working hours, and delete Slack from your phone so you can switch off when you’re not at work.

    The best thing I did early in my career (which I started a few years later than most) is to look for stretch opportunities and offer help. Learn as much as you can. Make a name for yourself by helping others and sharing knowledge. Build a network outside of work.

      Also build a network of more senior people & learn from them. I owe my career success to a combination of hard work, not working weekends or evenings, & the advice/mentorship of many more senior folks
