katie_fenn AndyDavies I hated English Lit. I love reading, but I just didn’t see the symbolism I was meant to and that everyone in my class seemed to. It took me a little while after I finished school to start reading for pleasure again.Permalink On twitter.com

katie_fenn AndyDavies I ended up doing an A level in English Language at a local college because my school didn’t offer it. They said “the kind of universities our girls like to apply to don’t see it as a proper subject”. And analysing novels is any different???On twitter.com
