        heydonworks I think the problem people have with stuff like this (and people's inability to determine when it's satire) is that there's just so much of this stuff in the media and online that's real, so it becomes a matter of Poe's Law when it's impossible to distinguish satire from reality

      heydonworks Like, obviously you are not serious when you say you're a proud conservatory, but if someone missed the end of that word you might be mistaken for the real deal and so people are going to get angry

    heydonworks I think we could all do more as Non Bigots (TM) to promote the good and wholesome stuff and amplify the voices of marginalised folk rather than just parodying the already far too loud voices and effectively making them louder
